  • Notes
    • BIRTH:
Full date of 7 July 1865 given for a female Dolin child of John Dolin and Margret McKane in Killeter, County Tyrone. No first name given, perhaps indicating that the child died shortly after birth. Infomation abstracted from "Ireland: Births and Baptisms, 1620-1881" on www.familysearch.org. Reference is made to LDS FHL Microfilm No. 101111, page 29.
Examination of record on LDS FHL microfilm (page 29, line 219) gives Segronan townland, Killeter District, as the location of birth and confirms the date and identities of the parents. The informant was Ann Dolin, who stated that she was present at the birth of the child. The birth was registered on 24 July 1865. The fact that no name was given to a child in an entry over 2 weeks after the birth (the space for a name simply has a horizontal line) suggests that the child may have died shortly after birth.

      DEATH:
Full date of 7 July 1865 given in Irish Civil Registration death record for a female Dolin child of Segronan Townland who lived one hour. Cause of death was debility. Informant was Ann Dolin, who was present at death. Date of this record, like the birth record above, was 24 July 1865.
