- Full date of birth would be 13 January 1867, according to entry for Mickey Dolin, son of John Dolin and Margaret McKane, in "Irish Births and Baptisms: 1620-1881" on www.familysearch.org. Birthplace given as Killeter, County Tyrone, Ireland in the database, and reference is made to LDS FHL microfilm 101141, page 29.
- This entry is confirmed by examination of the LDS microfilm 101141, which is of the Irish Civil Birth Registers in the District of Killeter for 1867. Entry number 420 on page 29 is for Mickey Dolin, son of John Dolin, farmer, and Margaret Dolin, formerly McKane. Location of birth given as Segronan, Killeter District, Castlederg Union, County Tyrone.

Enumerated as Michael Dolan with wife Bridget. Record states that they had been married for 1 year, consistent with the known marriage of Michael and Bridget in 1899. The address for the couple (1208 N. St. Bernard Street) was about 5 city blocks (0.2 miles) from the 1901 address for Peter Dolan at 5011 Master Street.

Buried along with Mary McSwiggan (perhaps his sister in law, since she is enumerated with the family in the 1930 Census, but is younger than Bridget?) and Bridget Dolan.
