      Full date in Delaware death certificate no. 418 (1958), in Delaware Public Archives, Dover, Delaware. Parents named as Roland E. Hurd and Helen Lofland.
      Year of birth given as 1954 in tombstone inscription recorded in "Souls in Heaven, Names in Stone: Kent County Delaware, Cemetery Records," by Raymond Walter Dill, William Martin Dill, and Elizabeth Ann Bostick Dill, Baltimore: Gateway Press, 1989, page 124. Inscription notes that he is the son of Rolad E. and Helen Hurd.

      DEATH:
      Full date and location in Delaware death certificate. Died of brain tumor in Kent General Hospital, Dover, Delaware. Informant was Roland E. Hurd, Smyrna, Delaware.
