  • Notes
    • BIRTH:
      - Father identified as Richard Joell in the news account of her marriage in the Port of Spain Gazette. Identified as his third daughter.
      - Richard Joell is identified as resident in Port of Spain beginning with slave register returns in 1815. Since she was born in March 1820, this suggests that she was born in Port of Spain.
      - Year of birth would be 1819-1820, according to age (59 years) in her death notice in the Port of Spain Gazette, 7 June 1879, page 3.

      DEATH:
      - Full date given as 6 June 1879 in her death notice in the Port of Spain Gazette, 7 June 1879, page 3. Since her late husband was Stipendiary Magistrate of Port of Spain, she likely died in Port of Spain.
