Identified as the mother of Mary Franzisca Drube (but no name given) by Bernardine Simon Lorenz. Subsequent research in church records in Germany provided her name.

      - Full date of birth given as 30 August 1797 in her baptismal record in the parish registers of Maria Himmelfahrt RC Church, Pömbsen, available at https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/deutschland/paderborn/DE_EBAP_14201/KB001b-01-Zt/?pg=60 [ninth entry on page]. Parents named as Johannes Budden and Maria Clara Sprock. A notation on the record of "M." may indicate a specific locality in the vicinity of Pömbsen where the birth might have taken place (and an adjoining village of Merlsheim is part of this parish). A similar notation ("Merlh.") is associated with her father's name in her marriage record.
      - Consistent with age (24 years) given in her marriage record in the parish registers of Maria Himmelfahrt RC Church, Pömbsen, available at https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/deutschland/paderborn/DE_EBAP_14201/KB003-01-H/?pg=31 [entry no. 12]. Father named as Johannes Budden, a tailor [Ger: Schneider] from "Merlh." A notation on this record gives a birth date of 30 August 1797.
      - Consistent with age (77 years) on an immigartion record for Francisca Drube, traveling to the United States with two of her children (Heinrich and Wilhelmine) and perhaps a spouse of Heinrich's. See below.
      - Maiden name given as Franziska (Lat: Francisca) Budde in the baptismal records of her children in Bergheim. Other Budde-surnamed persons also occur in the Bergheim baptismal register, but there is no marriage record for her in the Bergheim registers.
