Year of birth would be 1822-1823 according to entry for "Dan'l Hurd," age 3, from Murderkill Hundred, in Kent County Pauper Book, 1826, page 3, entry 92. Entered the Pauper House on March 16, and was released on May 5, 1826. These are the same dates of entry and release for Edward Hurd, age 58, from Murderkill Hundred, recorded on the same page, entry no. 80. Edward had been previously admitted by himself on February 14, 1826 and released on March 1. The biological connection between the two is not stated.
