      "Joan Catherine Cress
      "Joan Catherine Cress, age 87, died on February 3, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, Joan was raised in Upper Darby and resided in Morton for the past 61 years. She was a devout member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton for 61 years. Joan attended West Catholic High School for Girls and Pierce Business School in Philadelphia. She was employed by Beneficial Bank and along with her late husband operated their family business, Cress Doors for over 35 years. Joan was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
      "She was the daughter of the late Edward F., Sr. and Elizabeth Catherine (nee Devine) Kane and loving wife to the late Paul R. Cress. She was also predeceased by her son John P. Cress in 1972, her grandson and her brothers, Edward F. Kane, Jr. and John P. Kane.
      "She is survived by her children, Michael P. Cress of Morton, Edward P. Cress (Charlene) of Richmond Hill, GA, Paul A. Cress of Philadelphia , William J. Cress (Paula) of West Chester, Joan C. Spencer (John) of Folsom, David M. Cress of West Grove, and Elizabeth A. Cress of Morton. Joan was the beloved sister of Robert Kane and is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
      "Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday, February 8th at 6:00pm and Tuesday, February 9th after 9:30am, O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
      Donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA 19070."
