      Full date also given as 20 November 1888 in Irish Civil Registration birth record for Michael McCanny on www.rootsireland.ie. Place of birth given as Cooel, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Parents named as Francis McCanny and Mary Dobin (apparently a transcription error in the abstract).

      According to family history compiled by Patrick Teague and shared as an informal communication to Robert Simon on 29 September 2011, died as a young child.
      Full date of death given as 17 August 1892 in Irish Civil Registration death record for Michael McCanney on www.rootsireland.ie. Place of death given as Coolavannagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Informant was Mary McCanney, identified as his mother, from Coolavannagh.
