      - Year of birth would be 1854, according to the description of his age ("Born in this colony just over eighty years ago") in his obituary in the Port of Spain Gazette, Friday, 28 December 1934.
      - Listed on the same tombstone as Henry and Louisa V.E. Scott, but it seems more likely that they are his grandparents--photograph of tombstone available at https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/139252771/f-e-scott.
      - Identified (under the name F.E. Scott) as a child of Frederick John Scott's first marriage to "Miss Wainwright" in the obituary of Frederick John Scott in the Port of Spain Gazette, 2 July 1907, page 4.

      MARRIAGE: Was married twice.
      - First wife identified as Marie Eugenie Pollonais in his obituary in the Port of Spain Gazette, Friday, 28 December 1934. There was one son and one daughter from this marriage.
      - Wife identified as Marie Louise Eugenie Pollonais, eldest daughter of Joseph Philip Pollonais, and date of first marriage given as 11 January 1877 at the Cathedral in Port of Spain in a marriage notice in the Port of Spain Gazette 13 January 1877, page 2.
      - Second wife identified as Marie Eliza Ganteaume in his obituary in the Port of Spain Gazette, Friday, 28 December 1934. There were five sons and one daughter from this marriage.
      - Eliza Ganteaume was also identified as the wife of Frederick Scott in Anthony de Verteuil, Trinidad's French Legacy (Port of Spain: Litho Press, 2010), p. 232.
