Notes - BIRTH:
- Mother named as Gütele Soistman in numerous legal documents from 1745 surrounding the baptism of Golde's children with Jacob Simon (later known as Levin Simon).
- Father identified as Michel Mathias in a legal case involving him and Jacob Simon against a local nobleman in the Nordrhein-Westfalen Archives. He is referred to as the father-in-law [Ger: Schwiegervater] of Jacob Simon. This name comports with the name of his daughter, as Jewish naming practices of the time used the father's first name as the surname for his children.
